About
I'm not sure what to do these days. Is the money tree really helping to bring new people to my island? I am doubting it. The number of people dropping by has pretty much diminished.
So far I've tried lucky chairs, lucky pyramids, camping chairs, live podcasts/discussions in the events, and giving away products free. I've also set up a lot of sister shops to get brand recognition. My marketing efforts seem to be in veign. That tree seems to be the only thing getting new people to the sim.
What is it that encourages people to go places? Why are YOU just reading this? Why are YOU not here in Woodbridge? Can it really be that I am just not interesting? Am I just missing the point totally?
I tried setting up a traffic exchange system a long time ago in second life. The system was setup ok, but it didn't catch on. Perhaps I should try my attempts at it again. There was also the slap-n-grab thing, but it appeared that there were not many people using that as well.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be open to suggestions. I really need a boost in my personal economy.
